These cameras will require you to download an App from App store on your smartphone, they will require you to be at the location where you plan to leave the camera, they will require you to know the SSID and password of your 2.4Ghz network and to turn all the permissions for that App on your cellular phone including locations services. These cameras usually have a reset button that allow connect the unit to a new location or to restart the setup in case there was an error on the initial setup.
